The name “Sikorsky” carries a lot of weight in the helicopter business, transporting our troops, Fortune 500 executives, even the President of the United States. But when you’re a credit union with the same name, well, let’s just say that it’s hard to get off the ground.
After an exhaustive and thorough search, Bob Abbate Marketing was selected to help rebrand Sikorsky Credit Union. Our research uncovered that many people incorrectly thought that only people who built helicopters at Sikorsky Aircraft were eligible to bank at Sikorsky Credit union (which is far from the truth).
Bob Abbate Marketing went to work and created a breakthrough campaign. Our outside the box “See you @ the CU” campaign is fresh and cutting edge, and includes a series of newspaper ads, a radio campaign, brochures and in-branch posters, all promoting the various products offered by Sikorsky Credit Union.
Result: Armed with a fresh, new personality, Sikorsky Credit Union is positioned as a clear alternative to traditional banks, and their membership is reaching new heights. Their friendly staff is always happy to see you @ the CU!
